The exhibition of Jordi Pallarés at Szentendre The Léna & Roselli Gallery opens the exhibition of the Catalan artist Jordi Pallarés at the exhibition room of the Old Artist Estate at Szentendre at 17 PM on 29. May 2009. According to the hopes of the organizers the exhibition will worthy represent the internationally acknowledged philosophical art of the artist. The Catalan artist whose works reflect on Life, Death, the Individual, and the Community are representing ancient rituals. Its frame and color symbolism, and its expressive dynamic picturesque are feed upon different sources: from the sacral traditions to the European and American avant-garde art of the twentieth century. Besides the problems of existentialism enquirers might survey some portraits of Jordi Pallarés, and some of his works of art about bull-fighting. A film of the artist will be also projected at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, followed by a section featuring the artist answering questions from the audience, thereby also enhancing the dialogue between the works and their receivers. The exhibition will be open until 25. June 2009.

One Artist is not born, maybe predisposed to certain worries. One is done, as the sand with which some oysters play, initially, up to turning them into pearls. For the way you think prominent figures, some of fiction, others that they existed, and others real few ones with which you coincide and which influence you, in occasions for sharing circumstances and interests, and in others because they bring you over to new worlds. Refer to some small would be to despise great others, which still it ignoring, they have been more influential. For an Artist to expose his work is an important test, the effort to select, and to turn the monologue - dialogue of the study into dialogue of the look of the spectator with the work. The first exhibition always remembers with nostalgia in the passed time, and for the innocence that he accompanies her; the last simpre is the one that contains the interest, ascending (rising) spiral, last link of the evolution. The work always takes you beyond, contributing you slightly newly, surprisingly, though in occasions aparententemente it is not reflected. It is always a monologue and a dialogue with the WORLD. Of the Artist there is remembered the Idea, his obsession, his peculiar way of interpreting the same reality, commonly... and simultaneously so different. Every coleccionismo, as obsession that is, collectors that we are all, is the way to interrelate the ideas and to develop the new, common one to all of them.
